OUR MISSION
The mission of our program is to entertain while empowering and educating Latinos to the different opportunities available to them for personal success and financial stability.
Nutrition:
Our set brings you into our home, a huge mansion, with a kitchen fit for a King. We will bring you cooking segments from the best restaurants in Los Angeles as well as our elaborate home kitchen; including nutritionist, sponsor representatives and world famous Chefs. Part of our cooking segment will be devoted to teaching children and adults alike about healthy eating habits and healthier lifestyles.
Health:
This show will approach issues, such as diseases that put Latino adults and children at a higher risk. A few examples are obesity, diabetes, heart disease, children's diseases, stroke prevention and hypertension, just to name a few. Our expert guest panel will include, doctors, researchers, health care providers, public officials, fitness experts and organizations supporting Latino issues.
Finances:
Every day "The Mabel Katz Show" features professional guests who inform and provide helpful resources to the Latino community --such as how to obtain credit, buy a first home, start or build a business, and much more. The guest line-up will have a broad range from business attorneys who talk about setting up a business, immigration attorneys, financial planners, major banks, computer technology experts, realtors, authors, sales coaches and programs providing grants to people seeking to purchase their first home and start or grow a business. Mabel herself offers advice on how to start a business, how to keep the books, and all you wanted to know about taxes and licenses.
Education:
Literacy for Latino children is of major importance to Mabel. She will be interviewing people that are making a difference in our schools and giving children an opportunity to integrate into the system successfully. We will also be knocking on doors to find ways to increase literacy within the Latino community. Gang violence in East LA and other Hispanic communities is another Latino high risk factor. Mabel is taking it on by bringing awareness to the need of prevention. She will be driving her bus into the most densely populated areas of gang activity, addressing the schools, public officials and students on prevention. She will expose the issue from the inside perspective and try to bring a unity of leadership that can implement programs to create alternative directions for children, keeping them off the streets and out of gangs.
Entertainment:
The celebrity guest line-up includes some of the biggest stars of today. Mabel's last show "Despertar" was filled with many famous celebrities who always made the shows more exciting. This unique new show is sure to bring you a spectacular array of talent. The View on the empowerment of Latino communities has an interesting panel of guests; they will talk on subjects that effect Latino businesses, careers, politics, finances, economy, education and families. The View's guest panel will come from all walks of life and speak from different exciting locations on a variety of issues each week. Our reality make-over will provide a complete transformation to someone we randomly pick from the audience. We will remake their appearances, relationships, businesses and careers. Their transformation will add another interesting element to the show. Another surprise is our Wheel of Fortune, the prize wheel is spun each week, with giveaways that include weddings, quinceañeras, air travel and cars!
